Vintage Egyptian Revival Earrings

These have had my creative juices flowing for days! When I found this early 1900s, Egyptian revival necklace I just had to make some earrings! Remember when we learned that jewelry was heavily influenced by the exciting discovery of King Tut’s tomb? It truly shaped fashion in every sense. From ornate hair pieces, jewelry, to the cut of dresses, even the way makeup was worn. Very little was left without a breath of Egyptian influence. Colorful stone jewelry was made abundantly popular during this time as well.
I disassembled this Egyptian revival necklace to make individual pairs of earrings and paired them with gorgeous lapis lazuli stone and solid sterling ear hooks.

Due to the age of these pieces, there will be some visible wear. I did my best to show that in the photos. Truly, these were captivating to make. I hope you like them as much as I do!
